ABOUT
MIND 2 MOVEMENT
At the Mind 2 Movement Institute (M2M), we are on a mission to bridge the gap between movement science, pain neuroscience, psychology, and mindfulness. Because let's be honest - pain isn't just a physical, and it isn't just mental. It's both.
Yet, in the medical world, we keep treating it like it's one or the other. Some PTs focus on movement. Some PTs focus on pain neuroscience. And somewhere in between, patients are left confused, frustrated, and still in pain.
That's why we created the Movement-Based Pain Narrative Approach - a structured mind & movement-based training program that helps PTs and medical providers understand and apply an integrated approach to pain.
Through continuing education courses and mentorship, we train PTs and medical providers to see pain through a new lens - one that integrates body and mind for real, lasting results.
To revolutionize the way chronic neuromusculoskeletal pain is treated by integrating movement science, neuroscience, psychology, and mindfulness - empowring both patients and clinicians to create lasting change, MINDFULLY.
WHY MIND 2 MOVEMENT?
For too long, chronic pain has been treated as either a body problem or mind problem - never both. The medical world has split pain into two camps: physical tissue injury-based on one side, and psychologically-based on the other. But pain doesn't work like that.
At Mind 2 Movement (M2M), we refuse to stay in those outdated silos. We integrated movement science, pain neuroscience, psychology, and mindfulness into one cohesive approach - because real healing happens when the brain and body are treated together.
We provide cutting-edge, continuing education for PTs and medical providers who want to do more than just treat symptoms. Our approach empowers clinicians to get to the root cause of pain, shifting the focus from temporary relief to long-term transformation.

The Evolution of a PT Who Refused to Stay in a Box
I didn't set out to rethink physical therapy. I was just following the next big trend, the next promising method, the next mentor who seemed to have the answers. It started with an obsession or manual therapy - until movement science rocked my world. Then, I went deep into the movement and pain sciences, only to realize the brain was just as important as the body. But even that wasn't enough. It wasn't until I truly immersed myself in mindfulness that everything clicked: Pain, movement, and psychology don't just intersect - they are inseparable.
Frustrated, Then Fed Up
I've been frustrated at every step of my journey. At first, it was the cookie-cutter PT clinics that focused on hot packs, ultrasound, and billing codes instead of real patient outcomes. Then, it was the manual therapy crowd, who were treated like technicians. Then, it was movement science specialists, ignoring the brain. And finally, it was the pain science advocates throwing out biomechanics altogether.

The Mission: Redefining What It Means to Be a PT
Some of My Past and Present I'm Grateful For:
This isn't just about leveling up PTs. This is about redefining the profession.
Let's do it, mindfully.
